Mr. Darcy Cornered or a King Stud Dreamer?

Posted on Aug 9, 2015 by   No Comments Yet | Posted in Uncategorized

Where do ideas for stories come from? Are they linked to our past or our fantasies? Maybe they are suppressed dreams that wake us in the middle of the night forcing us to meet our characters head on. Sometimes they make us fall in love and other times sigh “what if.” No matter. The compelling stories these authors for Speed Dating for Readers #11 share have touched a chord inside me as I know they will for you. Never be afraid to try your next favorite author’s creation. First let’s meet Alan Brenham.

My first very rewarding career in life was helping people.
As a caseworker for the New York City Department of Social Services, Protective
Services, I investigated the horrors of the abuse and neglect of children and
did the best I could saving lives. After attaining master’s degrees in School
Psychology and Clinical Social Work, and a post graduate education in
psychoanalytic psychotherapy, I continued to help children and families in
schools and in my private practice worked with children, adolescents, adults,
including marital therapy. Totally fed up with Freudian theories that had no
practical application for people, a notion came into my head to look at human
nature relationships differently. After months of research, where fate told me
to read a book on chimpanzees, and my colleagues told me to write a book, I had
the audacity to create a new psychology, and put it in a personal improvement
book, Taming Your Inner & Outer
Bullies: Confronting Life’s Stressors And Winning
that changed my life and
the lives of others for the better.
While all this is happening, I finally decided what was most
important in my life as well. Fiction writing. No longer taking a back seat, I
put much effort into taking my vivid imagination and putting it on paper. First
successful short stories. Then, my mystery thriller, A Sinister Obsession,
published by Black Opal Books, and now my recently released novel, an epic
romance, Stardust Dreams. I am a member of the International Thriller Writers
Organization and Romance Writers of America. You’ll notice golf is in all my
work. It’s a passion that can’t be separated from all other aspects of my life.

Product DetailsSage Saint Charles lived a wild and notorious life in

hospice care, an unfamiliar old man is standing at her bedside.

the unknown galaxy in the hope of reaching an advanced alien civilization that
will cure their cancers and grant them immortality.
Stardust Dreams is a love story. This unique tale of

madcap adventure with them. Unfortunately, true life is not a child’s fairy
tale. If Lance and Sage are to achieve their happiness , they must first

Liv
Rancourt
Liv RancourtI write
romance: m/f, m/m, and v/h, where the h is for human and the v is for
vampire…or sometimes demon…and I lean more towards funny than angst. When I’m not writing I take care of tiny premature babies or teenagers, depending on
whether I’m at home or at work. My husband is a soul of patience, my dog’s
cuteness is legendary, and we share the homestead with three ferrets, who steal
things because they’re brats.
I can be found on-line at all hours of the day and night at my
website & blog (www.liv-rancourt.blogspot.com), on Facebook (www.facebook.com/liv.rancourt) or on Twitter (www.twitter.com/LivRancourt). Come find me. We’ll have fun!
Blurb:  King Stud
Product Details
Danielle’s got three months to make her Grandmother’s
rundown Craftsman house livable. Her game plan is to get in, get grubby, and
get back home to L.A. She needs a carpenter, and her best friend’s younger
brother is a good one. It’s hard to ignore the buffed body under Ryan’s
paint-splattered sweatshirts, but her friend declares he’s off-limits so
Danielle reluctantly agrees.
Ryan doesn’t have the cleanest record, anyway. His recently
ex-ed girlfriend wants him back, and he has a reputation for brawling. He’s
also had a crush on Danielle since he was a kid. Despite their nine-year age
difference, he knows she’s worth pursuing.
Soon the paint under Danielle’s fingernails starts feeling
more natural than the L.A. sunshine. She’ll have to navigate plumbing
disasters, money problems, and one seriously cranky best friend to find
something she hasn’t had before: a real home, and a man who loves her.
