The Feel Good Author

Today is the last time I’ll post about the dreams of authors. These authors are award winners, go-getters, funny, world travelers, workshop presenters, teachers, nurses, country music singers and one publisher! Whew. They offer me support when I doubt myself or my decision to take the writing journey I chose several years ago. I’m so proud to call them my friends.

This first lady and I started teaching junior high years ago before either of us considered writing a book. Now look at us. Today she continues to teach reading but also finds new and creative outlets to help children love books.

I would like to see a box of free time put under the tree.  I could use that time to do nothing but write and create. And, of course…world peace.  (Tongue in cheek.) Oh, and chocolate in the stocking.  Merry Christmas and Happy writing for the New year.https://www.amazon.com/Nogard-Dyslexic-Dragon-Willy-Robbins-ebook/dp/B01N23C5IU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1544922759&sr=8-4&keywords=books+by+willy+robbins

Susan Keene is unique in that she lives on a farm, has an apple orchard, ten dogs and many other animals that find a place in her stories. The former president of Sleuths’ Ink Mystery Writers is currently writing a new cozy mystery series.

What do I want to see under my Christmas Tree?  As I gave it serious consideration I realized I don’t want anything. I’m one of those blessed people who can have anything I want- but not everything I want.

My grandkids, daughter and her family will be here. It makes me happy and content.

I’d like to see no child without a present or food. I’d like a gentler world and leaders.

Memories of Christmas a short story about how sad memories of a past Holiday season can disappear instantly and make room for the present. $.99

This impressive lady has been a traveling musician with some of country music’s finest, a barber, a writer and now owns her own publishing company. She has taught me so much, not to mention given me confidence to continue writing.

This year for Christmas it’s not as much about what I’d like to see under the tree because I have just about everything I need. It’s about what I’m thankful for. I’m thankful for God’s guiding hand with all of the surgeries Dennis and I have had this year. I’m thankful I can walk and use my right arm. I’m thankful my husband is alive, thankful for my loving family and friends and for all the prayers that helped God lead us through the rough year of loss and illness in 2018. We are truly blessed Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all

Now we come to Miss Personality, Shirley McCann. If you look up the words, “supportive, friendship, optimistic” her picture will be right there next to these words. She too, is a top Amazon Selling Author and writes delightfully scary YA books.

The older I get, the less I want. So my wish list is like a lot people. Peace on Earth for everyone. (It can happen, right).  Health, happiness and security for my family.  Maybe some quiet time, since some of my kids live with me.  A clean house would be really, really nice.

Shirley McCann is the author of The Scarry Inn Series, available on Amazon.  http://tinyurl.com/jdytx8y

Nurse by day and writer by night mean Lois Curran is on the scene. She is a cruise expert and is usually put in charge when called upon to make plans for a

group of friends.

What do I want for Christmas? I feel so blessed. I think my only wish would be peace, happiness and being with my family. That’s all I could wish for, except maybe a tray of homemade fudge.

Kathleen Garnsey

The one thing I want for Christmas every year is to see the joy and the love on my grandchildren’s faces. I have three, Carter 12, Eden 8, and Jude 4.  When I see their smiles brimming and their hearts swelling, I see the true meaning of Christmas.  Love.

When you do nice things for other people it brings love and joy into your life. The hugs, kisses, and looks that say they are happy are worth more than any gift could cost.  (Okay, within reason—I can only afford so much love!)

My wish for you this Christmas is to have unending love under your tree, if you can fit all those people there.  Enjoy the people in your life who bring you happiness and love.
