Destined to Love Again
When I meet a new author I love finding out what makes them tick. In Lois’s case I found out she dreams of a free all-expense paid trip to tour the world. She loves travel and thinks 3 to 4 months on a cruise ship would be perfect. I can just imagine the stories after that. Enough from me. Let’s hear what else she has to offer about her remarkable life.
Lois: I have always been an avid reader, and have wanted to write since I was in Jr. High. In school I wrote several short stories per English extra credit. When I was 20 I wrote a short story and sent it to True Story magazine. I received the nicest rejection letter which made me feel I didn’t have what it takes to be a professional writer. However, the desire to write never faded and I always talked about, “when I write my first book.” Several years ago, my middle son, Lon presented me with a computer, printer, and 3 books on, “How to Write a Novel.” He said, “Mom, it’s time you wrote your novel.” And the rest is history.
My debut novel, Destined to Love Again is a contemporary Christian romance. It is available on Amazon. http://amzn.to/2hdSVNs
On the heels of a breakup from her long-time boyfriend, Abby leaves Orlando for Tampa. She needs a second chance at life but doesn’t want a second chance at love. Then the school handy-man shows gentle persistence and steady goodness as he tries to persuade her to go out with him. She can’t deny the attraction, but she’s not ready to take the risk of dating someone new. Is she willing to let go of the past to allow herself to love again?
My best writing advise is just let go and write. You are never too old to achieve your dreams.
