Every year my family asks me what I want for my birthday and Christmas. Every year I say “I want to ride in a Black Hawk Helicopter.” My daughter finally told me that just wasn’t going to happen. So I’m going to attempt to make a list for writers. Feel free to borrow ideas.
1. Spanking new computer!
2. Writer’s Digest Books
3. Amazon gift card
4. The Writer & Writer’s Digest Magazine subscription
5. Journal, notebooks, paper
6. Office supplies including postage
7. Chocolate, tea, coffee
8. A pillow for my back
9. Music CDs ( I like movie & XBOX game soundtracks)
10. Movie coupons or tickets
11. Someone to clean my house!
12. Thank you notes
13. Vistaprint gift card
14. Coffee mug with writer wisdom on side
15. Dinner with Daniel Craig (Bond. James Bond. The inspiration is flowing just thinking about that one.)
Now give me more ideas for writer gifts. What would you like to have for Christmas?

#'s 1,3,9,10,11,& 13 are on my Christmas list as well. You know what they say, 'great minds think alike'.
I've told my family the only thing I want for my birthday and Christmas this year is cash to save up for the Big Sur Writers' Workshop or an SCBWI conference.
I thought of writing conference money after I published this. That should have been #1. I feel like I've gone to Heaven when I'm at a writing conference.
Great list, I hope you get many items on it! This year my list is mostly about exercise, but I would never turn down writing-related gifts.
Johnny Depp dressed as Jack Sparrow. Shhh, don't tell my husband.
Yes! I want one of those too. My husband already knows.
