The Hooker – Just Kidding.
When I write the words just seem to fly onto the pages. I have notebooks of ideas, plots, pictures, character descriptions and journals full of the interesting places I’ve visited. There is never a time when I can’t find something to write. But where I get stumped is when you write THE END. The book goes to edit, fix then press and you have a book. That’s where I get lost. How do I get the word out? Authors are responsible for much of that these days. I’m totally lost in that dark maze. I would love to hear some ideas. These are a few of the ones I’ve used.
1. Press Release – newspapers, schools, book clubs, community meetings
2. Visit libraries and book clubs
3. Book and author signing events
4. Word of mouth
5. Social Media
None of that is enough. I need a hook! Share your list of book release ideas. I will be happy to post everyone’s ideas as they come in. Got you on the title of the post didn’t I?

Words fly onto the pages for you? I'm so envious of that! I sometimes feel like every word comes with a drop of blood.
