This is an incredible time of year. The trees turn into a riot of color, people decorate their doors and porches with festive anticipation of Halloween and Thanksgiving. Even the weather takes a cool breath to give us the chance to shake off the heat of summer. And yes, flowers begin to die back and the days are shorter, but with the first blaze in our fireplace and the smell of warm apple cider, the promise of family gatherings brushes off the approach of a cold winter. I hope you enjoy the pictures I took to share my favorite time of year.
