waitressing, and even go-go dancing, all of which allowed me time for my first
love, writing mysteries, a small press published my Niki Alexander mysteries,
Less Dead and Lost Witness. Four anthologies include my short stories. Three
screenplays were optioned, and I co-wrote, directed and acted in a one-act
play, and co-wrote a script for the 48 Hour Film Project. Then Black Opal Books
accepted the story closest to my heart, The Flawed Dance, inspired by the
sixties and my life surviving as a go-go dancer in Philadelphia, and was
released on July 11. I presently reside in Houston with two dogs and four cats,
and am happily unmarried after six attempts with fascinating men who made
better fictional characters than husbands. My three children, six grandchildren
and three great-children live close by and inspire me every day.
