As a caseworker for the New York City Department of Social Services, Protective
Services, I investigated the horrors of the abuse and neglect of children and
did the best I could saving lives. After attaining master’s degrees in School
Psychology and Clinical Social Work, and a post graduate education in
psychoanalytic psychotherapy, I continued to help children and families in
schools and in my private practice worked with children, adolescents, adults,
including marital therapy. Totally fed up with Freudian theories that had no
practical application for people, a notion came into my head to look at human
nature relationships differently. After months of research, where fate told me
to read a book on chimpanzees, and my colleagues told me to write a book, I had
the audacity to create a new psychology, and put it in a personal improvement
book, Taming Your Inner & Outer
