The first author I’d like for you to meet is Lori Robinett! What a gal. We’ve been through some heavy writing and slumps over the years. She is a terrific writer and cheerleader for others. She works as a paralegal for University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Scandals. Strong Women. Second Chances.
Lori writes cozy mysteries, mysteries/thrillers, and contemporary western romance. She also offers coaching to aspiring writers. She lives in central Missouri with her husband on a small hobby farm maintained for the comfort of their Beagle, Snorkie, and two cats. If she isn’t reading or writing, she’s probably lounging by the pool or snuggling with a cup of coffee in front of the wood stove.
This fun cozy mystery features a “colorful display of Christmas suspense and intrigue” perfect for lovers of true crime and mysteries. Jess witnesses what appears to be her next-door neighbor in distress and Jess is the only one who seems to care. When the cops dismiss her as a bothersome true crime reporter with an overactive imagination, Jess must delve into the life of her mysterious neighbors, Rory and John Regan – with hints at embezzlement and gambling – before Rory ends up dead. The next author is Jennifer Wilck an award-winning contemporary romance author for readers who are passionate about love, laughter, and happily ever after. Known for writing both Jewish and non-Jewish romances, her books feature damaged heroes, sassy and
independent heroines, witty banter and hot chemistry. Jennifer’s ability to transport the reader into the scene, create characters the reader will fall in love with, and evoke a roller coaster of emotions, will hook you from the first page. You can find her books at all major online retailers in a variety of formats.
Benjamin Cohen, widowed father of six-year-old Jessie, is doing his best to hold it together through order and routine. The last thing he needs is his matchmaker mother to set him up with her next-door neighbor, no matter how attractive she is.
When S.K. Andrews wasn’t swimming in the Pacific Ocean in her hometown of Laguna Beach, California, she busied herself by writing fantasy stories and acting on stage. Having grown up watching Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone and Night Gallery shows on TV, S.K. quickly fell in love with paranormal tales with a message of wisdom and love. In The Kelly Society book series, S.K.’s heroine, paranormal cleanser Vivien Kelly and her team are in a race to rid the
modern world of deadly Celtic creatures. Bay of Darkness and A Kelly Society Christmas are the first two books in the series. Bay of Darkness won the Finalist prize in 2019 from N.N. Light’s Book Heaven and placed Finalist with Readers Favorite in 2020. The beautiful Hudson Valley in upstate New York is where S.K. calls home. Marla White started her illustrious career as a storyteller at the age of four by drawing on the TV screen to help Winky Dink get out of mortal danger, earning her a firm spanking. Deterred by the negative feedback, she studied to be a park
ranger instead until she realized it was really a TV show about park rangers she liked, not the actual outdoors. After working in television for years, she now teaches at UCLA and writes cozy mysteries as well as fantasies.
Bloodstains and Candy Canes:
The swanky cookie exchange Dr. Mandy Brown reluctantly agreed to attend comes to a screeching halt after a body turns up on the kitchen floor. Tensions escalate as motives for murder come out of the pantry as fast as guests scarf down the pot-spiked brownies, making the hunt for the killer all the merrier.” Bloodstains and Candy Canes” buy links: Amazon.com : blood stains and candy canes
And then there is my Christmas book. I’m a thriller writer but love to mix it up a bit with some fun and unexpected adventure. The Knight Before Chaos is a mix of Home Alone and Die Hard.
The Knight Before Chaos https://amzn.to/2lNoSQ0 (#6) in the series.
Captain Hunter believed watching Tessa Scott’s children for one night would be an easy assignment. What he hadn’t considered was how much they resembled miniature, domestic terrorists. The former Delta officer discovers, outmaneuvering the Taliban was child’s play compared to keeping three kids from falling victim to a group of not-so-smart burglars. But with their flare for the dramatic and enough plastic firepower to make Darth Vader tremble, the children help Chase make this Christmas one they’ll never forget.

I’ve read two of these books. I’ll have to pick up a few more now. But keep in mind, I may not read them unless Nov. 1st. I refuse to celebrate before then. Of course, I will buy gifts if I see anything interesting.
I can understand that. Some people are already watching Hallmark Christmas movies.
Thanks to Shirley’s email I found this. I don’t see all your posts anymore.
Great idea. I just bought Lori and Marla’s books listed here. Patti, I’d like to keep in touch.
