With the New Year underway I wanted to bring you the latest news about my work. Back in the summer Amazon terminated my account and has yet to give me a reason why. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one. I ended up moving all my work to IngramSpark and now my books are offered on about 44,000 platforms. Barns & Noble, Smashwords, Hulu, and even Amazon (go figure!) are just a few places to find me. Anyway, if you have a favorite outlet, I’m there, except for Google Books. I hope you’ll read this next book from the Enigma Series. The best way to look for me is enter Tierney James Books.

Why is this book important to me? Because some of it I experienced. I went to China in 2002 with a friend to adopt a baby girl. Now she is an amazing young woman. It was quite an adventure. I had not even written my first book at that time. Watching her one afternoon while she napped in the coastal town of Guangzhou, China, a story of how I came to be there started to percolate about a great adventure to rescue a baby girl.
However, I soon realized I couldn’t just start there! I had to develop characters and a whole lot of back stories. Thus, I began a writing career. I published the first of the Enigma Series in 2013. Yes, it took me a while to get started. But here we are on #11 in the series. Finally, I’m back in China. I have other series, but this is my favorite. Nothing like a little lipstick and danger to get your heart pumping when you’ve run out of options.
China was an amazing country full of magic and historical importance. I cannot begin to describe the beauty or the people. Out of all my travels, it is one of my favorite places. This book involves foreign adoptions, which is dear to my heart. As of August 2024, foreign adoptions stopped in China. There are a lot of political and economic reasons why that happened. Be sure to check out the back few pages of the book where I give you more information.

The publishing date of China Dolls is January 16, 2025. I plan to have a Facebook party so look for that announcement and join in the fun. I have some pretty giveaways. As always, I would appreciate a review and for you to check out the other books I’ve written. They are all edge of your seat adventures with a line of romantic suspense woven into the thrill of the ride.
